The Cabinet Committee on Energy (CCoE) headed by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has rejected a proposal of Chairman Wapda, Lt-General Muzammal Hussain (retired), to award contract of 800MW Mohmand hydropower project to FWO-JV on a negotiation basis instead of international competitive bidding, official sources told Business Recorder.
