The Ministry of Energy and Power inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Wednesday with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on energy conservation.
Under the programme, JICA will extend support through its experts for developing an effective strategy for phasing out of inefficient appliances, implementing the mandatory Pakistan Energy Labelling Regime and reviewing the National Power System Expansion plan, a press release quoted the minister as saying.
